If anyone has skied both of these could you provide a compare and contrast of the two.  Thanks.

I have the precursor to the Spectrum in the Olympus Mons (110mm) and Spire (100m).

The Spire is my go-to all mountain ski when there's some fresh snow that will get skied out by mid-day.

With two layers of titanium, and slight tip and tail rocker, this is an easy ski to ski in all conditions, frontside groomed runs to fresh pow.

The Spectrum series has a lot more technology (amphibio, strategic titanium, diamond tip, etc.).

Elan also deploys a lot of traditional technology, such as ABS sidewalls, black sintered base (graphite is added to the base to make it harder and, erh, black), etc.

Don't know anything about the other ski. But you could probably pick up last year's Spectrum at a consuderable discount (on line of course).
