time for new skis [60yo, advanced, replacing Salomon X-screams 188]

I'm 5'9". 175. 60 YO, all mountain advanced -50% piste,50% bumps, trees, steep ungroomed in the West on average day.  I have the old yellow Salomon X-screams (188) from 10+ years ago.  Seemed short at the time but feeling pretty long and heavy now!  What are some good options to Demo or pick up something a couple of years old used?  Thanks!

I'm 5'11", 172 , ski Colorado and had been on the light blue XScream right up until demo day at Loveland this year -10 years?

I tried the Rossi E88 and E100, the Dynastar powertrac 89, the Blizzard Bonafide and Brahma and the Nordica Enforcer.

The E88 was like a ginsu knife that was a stunningly good carver. Really impressive

The Enforcer was good but didn't rail the way the Bonafide did for me.

The Bonafide seemed to do everything. It will smear a turn in bumps then carve a powerful GS turn. I'm still shocked at how quick it is edge to edge at a 98mm waist.

The Bonafide is slightly changed for this year. I can't comment on previous years. But if your on a 188 yellow x scream I suspect you'd love last years Bonifide in a 180

Welcome to Epic. For skis that can be found used, I'd recommend the following:
Nordica Hell and Back
Fischer Motive 95Ti(think this has been out for a few years)
Fischer Ranger 95
Head Rev 95
Blizzard Bonafide
Volkl Mantra(tricky because Volkl changed this ski so much and not always for the better)

I'd stay away from anything without camber

Demo Head Monster 88, maybe a 170 for your size.  All new ski getting great reviews.  Or, buy my 2013 Head Rev 85 Pro 177cm, great ski, very good condition, price is right, PM me; make an offer that makes us both smile.  I'm 6', 180#, and they respond very well.

Thanks - I guess best to try before I buy which is what I did when I got the X-screams, unless I find a deal I can't refuse.  Looking at some Bonafide's on Ebay now.

Thanks again!
