best "good luck" routines?

so, whether we want to acknowledge it or not, skiers are a relatively superstitious bunch of people. so, whats you thing? what is your foolproof fail safe for a good season?

So long as it isn't a powder day, I always take the same warmup run at my home mountain.  Any deviation from that "standard route" messes up the mojo for the day.

If it's a powder day...  well, I seem to manage just fine by taking alternative routes.  :)

Don't know if it's a "superstition" thing, but if I don't make sure my heel is planted (in pocket), it takes all morning to figure out why my foot is sloppy and why my wide feet hurt, and that throws off my game.  So, my routine for buckling on "The Boots" has some "predictive" affect on my day.

There are a few topics I never want to discuss, and along that vein I try to avoid mentioning during ski season the four letter word for non-frozen precip that begins with the letter R.

It would violate my superstition to call anything foolproof and fail safe but I tend to stick with my pre-selected ski days and not chase weather.

My routine...a shot of Jim Beam and a PBR at the end of the day :beercheer:
