Dalbello Scorpion/Strike 120 Buckle Bending

Thread Starter

These boots are only ~1 season old and yesterday I noticed the second buckle from the top on both boots was bent out from the shell. No crashes, or misuse that I am aware of. I have been running the buckles on the first rung with zipfits.

The right one was worse than the left. I was able to replace the right rivet holding the buckles with an allen screw off my old Kryptons.

Is this a known warranty issue with this boot?

Seems like a boot of this caliber should have bolts instead of rivets in the first place. Maybe they come on the 130 only.

Not uncommon... Sometimes when you walk around and go up and down stairs the loose buckles can get hung up on objects/stairs and slightly twist buckle... Usually not a warranty issue.. Go back to were you bought them and have your boot fitter bend it back.. Not a hard task....
