Awesome day today at Vail. snows stake said 5 in at 5 AM but it skied I Thought way deeper. Wasn't blower , but I am not complaining in the least.

Returning tomorrow night after a few morning hours back to snowless and worst yet coldless Pa. Feel awful fortunate to be skiing period and the fresh snow was an early Christmas present.

Vail should be in great shape for the Holiday crowds with a number of snowy days being forecasted.

Me and some friends are trying to decide between Vail and Breck for tomorrow.  Thanks for the TR.  I'm voting for Vail.

Scary, that would be "Some friends and I are trying...."

*sorry, but the English teacher in me just can't stand the way you (and lots of other people do this) started your sentence.

Have fun skiing.

Who cares about this thread ? I don't . Powder days shouldn't be a reason to start a thread .

We all see the snow reports

Waste of space

Sounds like someone is a little jealous of a trip report.  Or is just a grumpy old man.  :rolleyes

I ski Vail 40 days yearly . A thread that says it's a powder day is a waste of space and unnecessary . If you have a question about the resort I can understand it .

Go ski and stop wasting your time and others .

Im not at a ski resort at the moment to ski so Ive got plenty of time to waste.

Threads should not be started to proclaim there is a powder day. Just ridiculous.

Ask something constructive about the ins and outs of a ski resort ,a specific ski boot, etc.

Every time I ski a powder day I'm gonna post

Powder day 12/25 at Alta! 12/26 powder day at Snowbird! 12/27 Powder day at Brighton . LOL

Last comment . . . this thread was posted in Trip Reports, not General Skiing or Resorts, Conditions and Travel.  Anyone who spends a day on a ski slope is encouraged to post about their experience whether it's a powder day or a day when snow conditions were lousy.  Since you don't want to waste your time, I'll be a helpful Moderator and lock you out of the thread.

Hey, Jimmypowder, sorry to annoy you. Well, not really ! The subject matter and content of my post obviously doesn't meet your standard of content and merit to consume any of your valuable time on Epic.

I enjoy Epic Ski because it can capture the joy and experiences of other posting skiers. There are many posters on Epic that do not experience powder as frequently as you apparently are fortunate enough too.

So go ahead and dump on me. I had a great experience at Vail this week and thought I would share that . The stoke, the enthusiasm for skiing , etc I wanted to communicate through Epic Ski . I have enjoyed TR's on this forum that reinforce how much fun a great day on the mountain can be and for me this reinforces how wonderful skiing can be.

So I am guilty of posting a fluff post that offers you no meaningful content or meaningful information for you.

My only response is , this forum is about skiing and the skiing experience. Since I failed miserably to contribute anything of merit or benefit specific to skiing I am hopeful going forward you will be able to share information with the rest of us that enhances our ski experience.

Ball in your court to contribute content of meaningful merit. I look forward to reading your future posts.

I seriously hope to never read another post from Jimmypowder again this season. That was awful.

Good on ya Roundturns. Enjoy. Have a buddy headed out there tonight while I try to rip ice dirt in Vt.

Jimmy, burn your computer.
