Upgrading my Head 10.8 Edge boot?

I am currently using a Head Edge 10.8 boot. The shell has been fitted to my right foot (a bit wide, with a small bunion). It has the standard liners. I did once a custom sole. But I don't think that made a difference. I think a medium sole without contours would have been  equal.

As the boot is not the newest anymore and needs some repairs I am trying to decide whether or not to get a new one.

Can I expect better performance overall from a new one?

What brand should I be looking at for my foot situation?

Should I go for a custom liner?

the edge is very soft and wide (this is good, if you have a very wide foot, and are a beginer)   if not you can expect more control, with less fatigue, and more  warmth from a new boot.

look for a good boot fitter in your area,   THEY can asses what brand and models fit YOUR foot shape best.

odds are you will not need a custom liner, but a custom footbed might help?  again, fitter can help

I am going to be in Vail over Xmas. What place should I go to in the main village area?
