"Earlybird lift pass prices make it easy for you to be a part of an awesome 2016 Queenstown and Mt Hutt ski season. On sale from the 17th of December, you can grab yourself a season pass; the 3 Peak Pass from $599 or the Mt Hutt Pass from $299 "

Potential price war looming for season pass deals in the south of Aotearoa. Good deals if anyone is thinking of coming over in 2016. Day passes are now about $100 per day.

Wow that Mt Hutt pass is a screaming deal--too bad I live about 7,500 miles away.

Wonder what Porters, Ohau, and, to a lesser extent, Cardrona and Treble Cone will do?

Well I've just bought a TC season early, early bird pass for $1200 which doesn't look too smart at the moment with those prices being flashed around.

Did'nt know Treble Cone season passes were that steep in price that is, NZD 1200 = USD 820, steep by any standards , though the terrain a'int too shabby either, lots of open steep terrain ! This was filmed entirely in Treble Cone, the snow looks spectacular as does the high Alpine terrain. Goal is to make it to Wanaka and Treble Cone one of these days:
