I'll be heading to Sierra at Tahoe (south lake tahoe ca) this weekend 12/12/15 (sat). I've already been up once and the skiing was awesome and they are expecting 4-8ft of more snow at low levels on Thursday and Friday and then a second storm on Sunday and Monday I'll be skiing this saturday we shall see how it goes. (going on trip #2 yayyyy😀😀😀😀❄❄⛄⛄⛄

Who told you 4-8 feet?  I think more like 2 feet is the forcast with winds hammering the $h%t out of everything, but ya, good times for sure.

Current open snow prediction from Bryan Allegretto ranges from a low of 30" at the base to a high of 76" up top by Monday, and with winds over the weekend.

Yah but that's on MONDAY after the second, colder front moves through.  The first front, Thursday/TH. night, starts out warm, and has high winds, so 4-8 ft by Saturday is a big stretch  NTTAWWT

Ah, my misunderstanding I guess... I took this : "expecting 4-8ft of more snow at low levels on Thursday and Friday and then a second storm on Sunday and Monday" to mean 4-8 feet through Monday.

Good luck getting up there, and good luck with any wind holds on the lifts over the weekend. Either way, post up a report in the Tahoe thread.
