Hello everybody,

Need your opinion. I just bought Nordica fire arrow 84 EDT but need also 2 nd pair when skiing with my small children ,Im 190 lbs, 5'11 ,44 yo, very good phisical condition , ski mostly Wisconsin, groomed . Need something i can use on hard snow but also can take out West , I thought about Nordica Nrgy 90 . Will it be different than FA84 or should I pick something else in all mountain category? Never skied on that type of ski , Thanks for your time.

I'd go a little wider for that 2nd ski. Many to chose from but for a ski that will handle hard snow and also be good for out West consider the Blizzard Bonafide, Rossignol Experience 100, Head Monster 98 or even the Volkl Mantra. I'm personally not a fan of the Nrgy series and I think more than a few here agree.

I agree that you should go wider than 90mm.  I'd recommend looking at the new Atomic Vantage 100CTi or the Salomon Q98.  The Atomic is a bit more hard show biased and the Salomon is a bit more soft snow biased.  Try to demo.  But, why do you think you can't use the FAs when skiing with your kids?  You don't always have to ripping 50mph GS turns on them.

Hello  mtcyclist- I bought FA without demo, there was none where I live, and based on revievs and opinions I wanted something for agressive runs .I have been told that FA is great for fast runs but stif and unpleasant whil going slow and relaxed, thats why I tought about buying another pair of ski when going for relaxing skiing. I will definately wait , try Nordicas first and then make decission.

Thanks for your answer.
