Hey guys, new here. First post, whadup!

First time I went skiing I I got lessons, started slow and got up to black diamonds on some local resorts (I know, I know, it's nothing like the big dog mountains, but it was a small victory). Anyway, got hooked immediately and after a couple more time decided that next season I will buy a pair of boots to start (did my homework, eh?).

Got fitted for a pair of Nordica NXT N4s in an 80 flex this season and wondering if the guys at Viking Ski Shop in Chicago did a decent job.

I'm 6'4, ~220lbs.

No way to answer, we know nothing about your foot shape, size or anything else.  But you bought a very beginner oriented boot which means very wide and high volume.  If that is you then perhaps OK.  If not you, then you need to go shopping again.

I do have a wide foot if properly fit for shoes so maybe that's a good thing. Usually wear a size 12-13 depending on the shoe company and the these guys fit me in a 29.5. Nice and snug without much wiggle room in the calves, but a good amount in the toes when leaning forward.

size and shape might be ok,   Dont think that flex will support you all that well.
