My skis have a few big chips in them, is it fixable within the next week or two?

So first of all, let me just say I know hardly anything about fixing skis (lifts are more my thing :p )

I have a pair of Head ski-boards which were amazing but I'm concerned about a few chips on the back area of one of them (images below)

Is it a problem? If so, are the guys where I normally get my skis tuned able to fix it (as in, would a typical shop be able to?) , if not, where should I get it fixed, and when should I be able to use them? There is another pair lying around in my house, but so far I think these are phenomenal and I'd love to hang on to them if I can.

Here's some images to give you a visual idea ;

Thanks in advance

Yikes, if the wood core is exposed they won't last much longer.  I'd try to slather epoxy over it and just hope that helps keep the core from getting ruined any faster..  I've not seen a good fix for top sheet damage THAT bad.  The chips along the edge are no big deal but the giant one behind the binding is a show stopper.  If I had to guess, I'd say that probably happened when trying to stomp on the binding with the other ski to pop it up and release it from your boot.

yea, go to any ski store that looks like they have a full ski tuning/repair shop, and they should be able to fix it up for you.

But yea, i suspect they will just clean the area and apply an epoxy to seal the damage.

Yea, that's really deep for a cap ski!  You be workin' them hard!  Like said above, get them sealed up with epoxy.  Skiing baldes makes one a much better skier.  Hats off to you!  :beercheer:
