(SLC) Ski City Super Pass - Buy 3+ Days, Get One Free!

Been planning my upcoming SLC ski trip and stumbled on this sweet deal. Averages just over $60 a day and includes free ski bus (Utah TRAX) access (useful if you don't feel like doing the LCC/BCC drive in tough conditions). As far as I can tell it's only available on CheapTickets through this link -

No blackout dates!

I received my voucher immediately after purchasing.

Hope this helps some fellow skiers save a few clams!

This sounds like an excellent deal but I am not quite clear if you can use it more than once at Snowbird / Alta. See

Quote:
The Super Pass can be loaded with one (1) to six (6) days of skiing or riding and is valid for a fourteen (14) day period once it is activated. The Super Pass can only be used once per day at only one (1) resort at Alta & Solitude. The Super Pass can be used at Solitude & Brighton the same day for no additional cost . Super Passes are non-transferable and may not be shared.

I usually ski Alta and Snowbird with the odd visit to Solitude and Brighton.

It looks like you can use it for multiple visits to the same resort but confirmation would be good.

The SuperPass has been around for a long time.  Can go to any of the places as often as you like.  If that means most of the days at Alta, that's fine.  In recent years, the discount is that great compared to picking up a lift ticket at one of the outlets in SLC if you are driving.  If staying in SLC without a car, then the fact that the SuperPass includes a UTA bus pass comes into play.

Looks like a typo to me in that it should say "only one (1) resort at Alta & Snowbird."  In LCC you can't use it at both Alta and Snowbird on the same day.  It's not like getting a single combo pass that let's you cross over the gate between Alta and Snowbird at the top of Mineral Basin.

Can I use my Super Pass at more than one resort per day?

You can use the Super Pass at Brighton and Solitude on the same day, but otherwise, you're limited to one resort per day. However, you can access both Alta and Snowbird in a single day by upgrading your Super Pass to the AltaSnowbird ticket. To do this, just take your Super Pass to the ticket window at either Alta or Snowbird, pay an extra $33.00, and you're upgraded for that day. Pretty sweet.

Even with a car it's illegal to make the drive up to the canyons without AWD or chains when it's snowing. It can be problematic with a rental car.

I'd also note that a single weekend day ticket at Alta (booked in advance) is already 80 bucks. You definitely come out ahead with this pass if you know the general two week window you'll be in the area (it has to be activated within 14 days of your selected date).

Thanks for the confirmation that I can have multiple days at Alta using the pass.

Re having problems with 2wd and no chains. If the lights are flashing just park the car at the car park at the bottom of the canyon and take the bus.

10 weeks in SLC and I only had to take the bus twice. Mind you a couple of times I did wait till they removed the restriction but for me this is not an issue as I rarely ski all day as my bum knee gets tired early.
