Hi guys,

I've got a handful of vacation days to burn before Xmas and am dying to ski out west. I've been looking at Tahoe, Taos, Montana; would like to avoid UT and CO since I've been there the past couple of seasons. Any bets and reccos. given the, generally speaking, sad state of weather rt now?

Or should I stay up in the northeast and hit up Maine?

Thanks,

Chasing Powder

PNW hasn't had a particularly good season so far, but lots of snow is in the forecast for the next week and a half or so. Whistler might be worth checking out.

Had a chance to ski Sumday Bigger on Monday,  had a blast but only on 7 or so trails that are open.  SR is calling it 21 trails or so but you know how that goes.  Loaf has even less.  I,m sure well get some snow in the near future but if I had to pay to ski, I would look elsewhere.  Sounds like the west is getting all the snow this year.  Have fun.

Where you coming from, what's your budget, what do you like to ski?

What's a handful of days and what is your tolerance for travel?

Is Canada out?
