Putting this years two ski travel bag together for and wanting opinions on the wide boards that work everywhere - even hard pack.
Last years travel bag was packed with Bones in a 172 ( at the end of their life ) and Praxis GPOs in a 182 - it worked.
Trips this year to Revelstoke and others have me loading Enforcers in a 177 - maybe short, time will tell, and a pair TBD for the deep stuff. The GPOs, which overall I loved, felt a bit short when the snow was 1 - 3 ft. last year. I did however like the performance on variable / crud and yes, even hard packed.
This year criteria I'm looking for
Preferably US made with 115 + underfoot with some camber.
Strong in deep, variable and chop, windblown and even hard pack.
stiffer than the Solomon R2 or patrons
A solid ride that doesn't need Mach 1 or a supercharger to perform well.
Short list is
ON3P jefferys or Goats
Possible DPS - model TBD
Thoughts on any others I'm missing here ?
