I have been reading reviews on moonlight tele rondo and meidjo binding and I like the idea of both system. Obviously they have their pros and cons and I don't want to start a fight here. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of each binding?

I do like the fact that you can switch from tele to alpine in a matter of seconds with moonlight which is especially helpful near the end of the day when the legs become jelly. It also saves me the trouble of having inserts on my ski to swap between tele and alpine binding. (Yes yes I understand why tele if I want to lock my heel - occasionally I do enjoy the speed from alpine skiing which I can't get from tele - or maybe I'm just not good enough!). A minor thing that moonlight bugs me is that it's not an automatic step in and I still have to bend down and flip on the heel.

I'd interested to hear from people who have skied in both(?!) or either of the bindings. How do they compare in terms of say how active/efficient they are? How are the touring/downhill performance? Do they release when you need them to etc? Not having ski brakes is a bit of a nuisance but I guess it's just a good-to-have in resort.
