Alta observations:

Pretty thin right now. Typical Nov coverage.

 

On-piste is average mix of man-made and natural with ice in spots.

Skiing off-piste is doable if you have rock skis or rentals or just don't care about your bases.

 

Looks like a little snow coming in tonight through tomorrow.

I skied Alta yesterday and Snowbird Monday.

 

It is pretty thin and limited terrain. Snowbird is open to the top, but only one route (Regulator to Middle Bassackwards to Emma). They did have some cats working the Peruvian side.

 

Alta had a bit more open including some ungroomed with a lot of vegetation poking through.

 

It is supposed to snow today, though.

Forecast is calling for 6-12" by tomorrow afternoon in little cottonwood! Thanks for the reports!

3-4" fell this afternoon at alta and still coming down hard. Off-piste was getting much better. Should be good tomorrow morning.
