What is the typical rate of trail openings?

Even though there has been a bountiful supply of early season snowfall this year, I see that Copper, WP and Loveland still have a very small percentage of trails/acreage open.  What is normal percentage open at these resorts by Dec 1?  Christmas?  When or what amount of snowfall is typically needed before they are 100% open?

Several years ago I recorded yearly snowfall in the Rockies against trail openings and found that 100 inches of snow on the year was the magic number. Not the base but total snow on the year. When a resort reached 100 inches of snowfall on the year, a good number of black diamond ungroomed terrain had opened.

Copper needs a SETTLED 35-40 inch base to get most its terrain open. That may still leave out a few rockier spots but generally can be pretty close to 100% with slightly nore than a 3 foot base.
