Good Morning EpicSki Community,
At the request of the moderation team, we've updated our Site Posting Guidelines. Just to be clear, this is different than the Terms of Service/Privacy Agreement that you agree to when you sign up. The Posting Guidelines are the "Rules" for posting in the forums that the moderation team uses as it's basis for moderation decisions. What has changed?
We added two rules. One is about the term "ski p*rn"; Google doesn't understand that it's not sexually explicit content which causes problems for us. The second is about trolling. While there was always an implication that we didn't approve of members trying to bait or troll other users, the moderation team asked if that rule could be made more explicit to address some problems that they've observed.
I also did a bit of housekeeping on the rules: fixing broken links, updating the style of the text, clarifying wording of a few parts (like making it more explicit that PMTS is a forbidden topic), and updating parts that were no longer applicable. All in all the changes are minor, but we wanted the community to be aware of the changes nonetheless.
