Need help finding new skis for my son

Thread Starter
As the title says, I am looking to get my nearly 18 year old son some new skis. He is 5'10" and weighs in at 150 lbs. He is a cross country runner so is very fit. It is unlikely he is going to grow much more so I want to get him something that will last a few years. He is a solid intermediate skier but despite his age is not really into the park or pipe. We ski mostly in the PNW but will venture into the Rockies. Any suggestions for a solid all mountain ski for him? Thanks for the help.

ON3P Kartel 98.  Great ski, very solid, handles the PNW snow/crud easily, burly built to last ski and made right there in Portland.  Another really great thing about ON3P is that it is very easy to demo their skis, just contact ON3P.  I skied several runs on these at Bridger Bowl last spring, very hard snow, crusty in the trees, lots refrozen junk along the edges of the runs and they had good edge grip and blasted through the crusty snow and refrozen junk.
