Why lock a thread for no reason?

Eg. nice civil technical discussion going on and thread locked with no reason given (Angle for max grip).

Is this part of the New Management?

Not a good sign for the future of Epic Ski.

Thread in question? If the thread was civil then it shouldn't have happened. And there should always be a note explaining why the thread was locked.

Thanks, I just read back through the thread and I don't see why it should be locked. I've unlocked it for now, and I'm following up with who locked it to see if there was a reason it needs to be locked.

@Ghost the mod who locked it was browsing the thread on his iPad and hit the button to lock it without even noticing. Sorry about that.
