I'm having a great time viewing the video clips being posted by the new owner (engineer, scientist) at Tenney. Do not need to be a Facebook user to see them. The two on 11/13/15 include Hank Binney, a long time local who was hired early on after the decision was made to get the lifts running again in 2015.
In the first video, Mike keeps going back to the rainbow instead of showing the snowmaking pond.
Here's what Mike wrote about his Humvee adventure on a trail that wasn't cleared. Mike was driving and Hank was navigating. Trail clearing was supposed to be finished a while back. Towards the end Mike says "you tell me people go down this on skis?!?" He has never skied, but says he wants to learn at Tenney. Well worth reading comments and Mike's replies. Not a typical CEO.

TENNEY - Progress Update
Morning Glory / Trail Crushing
Hank kept saying, "you can't see the forest through the trees"... And I said, "you can't see where you're driving through the trees either" - and of course not knowing the terrain was very stressful.
So after the snow pond inspection - Mr. Hank Binney also noticed a few trails weren't finished from the view from his house.
So we took a ride to the top of the Hornet for a down hill inspection... And he was right, a huge section of Morning Glory got missed.
This video shows the awesomeness of the humvee in downhill action running over uncut 15 foot high saplings...
What's scary is the unknown - like driving off the edge of a cliff you can't see through the trees... lol
We'll get a crew on this next week. And try that down hill ride again without the trees in to way!
