New to the EpicSki community/Tahoe City

Hey all, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not but I'm just going with it. I'm an intermediate inbounds skier looking to get into the sidecountry or some mellow-ish backcountry skiing. Are there any groups in the Tahoe area that help get people into the backcountry, ski clubs, community groups, etc?

Hey there!  Although EpicSki obviously has Groups, the way the software works they aren't really that useful.  You are one of the few people who figured out how to "join" a Group.

The substitute for Groups are ongoing regional threads.  A list with links for all of them can be found at the top of Resorts, Conditions & Travel (under Mountains/Resort off the Forums drop down in the menu bar).

I suggest you introduce yourself in this thread.  A post will also put the thread in your Subscription list.
