Should I reuse them safely ? What is the lifespan of a bindings ? I also have a brand new Look PX 12.

I hesitate Duke or Look ? I had never used the touring mode (doh!) but I like having it.... in case of...

No, no, those are hard to get into in powder (or something), I'm sure of it.     I can, of course, test them for you.

You'll be fine, have a shop torque test them just to be sure.

Or send them to @epic, I'm pretty sure that will ease your mind.

Snoroqc

40 days on such a sturdy binding like your Duke's is nothing.   Mount 'em up.

*grin* I'm not worried about anyone who can cross legs and still evert their ankle enough to be stepping straight down onto the ski- while dorsiflexing  :D

That's a move a hockey player could be proud of.

Ha, yes, Mssr. Hattrup is clearly at the upper end of the dexterity scale. ;-)  But having read several posts by folks who claim not to like Dukes in powder because they're so hard to get back on that technique of jamming the ski into the snow at an angle and then stepping/clicking in, perhaps with some hand assist on the heel, might come in handy. And in soft snow it should work with skis that don't have flat tails.
