This is correct, we are still alive. We are busy on the other "worst kept secret" project, but yes still alive.  :popcorn

I take off to Asia (which included a visit to Hong Kong and a fellow Bear) and Epic blows up.  I won't speak to the debates as I went cross-eyed and lost track.  Anyhow, I have had more interaction with @Trekchick over on SkiDiva but It was that interaction that brought me to Epic and between the 2 sites I have met many of my closest and lifelong friends.  Some of us have been through many ups and downs together and watched major life changes.  And while I haven't been as close to @Philpug I have always appreciated his humor and genuine desire to help people enjoy and love the sport we all are here for.  I look forward to seeing you both when you come through Colorado and who knows, with the new job I might just show up in Tahoe one of these days.

Here's a pic from the first day I met any Bears in person, motivated by TC's trip to Colorado.  I'm sure I'll miss a few but it includes Cgeib, KevinF, Songafta, Mr Vertical, Segbrown and of course TC and I.

Wow im out of the loop. I usually just go straight to the tahoe thread.

I know after almost 30 pages everything that could be said has been said but ima gonna speak my two cents anyway.

Tricia and Phil are the sole reason i ever came to this site. Not only are they great ambassadors to epicski but also to the sport sport of skiing.

The first couple winters out here i knew hardly anyone and they were quick to have me over for thanksgiving, which to me at the time was huge being away from family and longtime friends. I cannot thank you guys enough for that! Their knowledge for equipment is second to none and Phil's gear hoarding is a site to behold. I enjoy the hell out of skiing with both of them. Rippers.

I have no real comment on the politics as I'm a pretty light poster. Ill continue to be over in the tahoe thread as its valuable a valuable time killer with some great insight

But im really looking forward to 1-1-16 and see what comes of it, ill be over.

Best of luck guys!

I want to add my thanks to Phil and Trish for all they've done.  I look forward to skiing with them.

At least now people can complain a bit less about Phil's alleged conflicts of interest whenever he recommends a ski.

I'd say it's Phil's for life considering how much and how invaluable the 2 of them have been to the Epic community.

To be accurate it's between them (if they elect to retain the plate) and Nevada DMV.

I just found this thread today. :popcorn

A neighbor back east still has the MD plates "Unix" and "HPUX"  though he moved from these to Mac's years ago

Probably should keep quiet to avoid trouble LoL.

Before we first met at A-basin I accidentally < note accidentally,

did not know you were a gal due to seeing a gender-neutral handle but apologized quickly after a foot in mouth insertion..

:nono:

I count you as a friend who is a super skier and hope all is forgiven even though that day

I nearly took your ski downhill from under the Pali chair !!

^^Wisdom for all, right there!

Yes, you were the one who started it, but it ended up being the joke that keeps on giving! So thanks for starting all the laughs, and also thanks for not taking my ski any farther away from me.  Pali's hard enough on two skis! :D See you soon!

They have been ordered.

I feel so out of the loop--I take a break from EpicSki and wham! bam!

At least I know where the new home will be.

Phil had a great understanding and appreciation for ballet skiing.  His insight, recommendations and comments will surely be missed.

He's not gone. He's just on a different site. It's off to a great start with a great format. Even more reviews and content.

There isn't anything about ballet yet but there is a Heritage section with potential.

Agreed @Snow Dancer

@rx2ski Also skied USSA ballet, way more than I did.  Phipug was borrowing his skis at the A-Basin gathering when he was doing the tip rolls.
