The next lift in BC? Where will it be?

BC Ski resort lift and terrain expansion has been slow since the recession.  Whistler, Whitewater and Red Mountain were the recent lift expansions.  Any idea where the next one will be?  Some of the Okanagan resorts such as Big White are long over due for a new lift and should get on it since then mountain gets busier every year! I don't know if Apex and Silver Star can expand?... I'd love to see another at Whitewater though I imagine that will be many years away, as they need to replace aging lifts.   Revelstoke would be great but under the current ownership I don't see them ever putting another lift on that mountain; the argument is that there is too much lift access terrain at Revy for the number of people that ride there... problem is everyone just shreds on the upper half of the mountain... the lower half of the mountain largely goes un-skied due to less interesting terrain and poor snow conditions especially on warmer years.  Beginners terrain at the bottom of the mountain when it's often ice, slush, crud or rain is not a great selling point!

Over In Grand Forks, Phoenix Mountain got approved to quadruple their acreage and add three lifts back in 2012. Who knows when that will happen.

Crystal Mountain near Kelowna has been closed for 2 seasons since their chair derailed It was built in '67, so I can see that one getting replaced if someone ever opens up the hill again...

If I recall correctly they were looking to buy a chair from a resort in Alberta which was shutting down

Sunshine just replaced an old lift with their new heated bubble equipped lift.  They reported sold their old lift to a resort in BC but I have not been able to figure out who would buy an old two seater that was 35 years old or so.
