I'm 5'9 and weigh 220 lbs, Advanced/Expert skier. I am looking for a ski that is good in the powder for my weight - I've skied the last 2 seasons on 188 Rossi Soul - fantastic ski other than i wasn't getting enough float out of it, often found myself on the back end.
I am looking for a ski that i can take cat skiing this year, but i would also to use on 5" + days primarily in steeps/bowls/trees in-bounds out west. I do hike a fair amount as well.
Given i do a fair amount of tree skiing, i am looking for a tighter radius powder ski was thinking either the Rossi Super 7 188, or Armada JJ 185. I'm thinking 115 MM + waist - or should i be looking for 125mm+??
Thoughts or Concerns, would appreciate some input. This was also a very good article http://www.actionhub.com/how-to/2012/02/16/powder-skis-vs-skier-size/
