Hey, I'm looking for a ski boot sized 31.5 or close to that. I'm going to start alpine part time again after 20 years of telemarking exclusively but I need to get my hands on some reasonably price boots. Thanks!
WTB: Size 31.5 Size Ski Boot
I know the retail guys wont like this but how about trying some on and finding a couple options that fit okay before searching for a deal on ones you know will work?
If you buy some that kill your feet and don't control your skis, you are wasting your time and money on the hill.
Guys, I appreciate the responses, but this isn't my first rodeo. I promise you I'm exploring all avenues, including ski swaps, clearance sales, asking buddies, digging through the trash. I'm quite familiar with how uncomfortable ill fitting and even properly fitting alpine boots can be, and I apologize if I've wasted somebodies time.
I think you might have missed the point. The ski swap suggestion was for you to have a chance to put your foot in a hand full of different brands to find one that fits "close enough" so that, even if you don't buy that pair, you know what to look for. I know you're all free heal steezy and stuff but feet are different and brands are different so just any old 31.5 boot isn't the ideal way to go, that's all. Boots range in shape and from 92ish mm wide to 106ish mm. If you fit one extreme you wont fit the other. You might even find after shell fitting that a 29.5 will work better.
Just trying to help. I have some 27.5's I'd give you but but don't have any 31.5's to sell.
Here you go - cheap, 31.5.
Light, warm, comfortable boots designed to make getting to the lift as easy as skiing, Quest Access X80 boots also offer great skiing performance for the advancing intermediate ...
Yes, I know. The OP indicated "it was really about price" after rejecting most of the opinions given by others. His parameters were 31.5 and cheap.
