FS: Briko Forerunner Helmet, 60cm, GREAT condition. Popular Helmet, Hard to Find

This one is in tremendous condition, with really great colors. I've had a lot of helmets over the years, and I've held on to a few that I used very lightly. I just need to clear out a bit of gear. Too much stuff.

I'm pretty sure that this is a size 60. I'm normally on the slightly smaller side of an XL. An XL in helmets that run small, and a Large in helmets that run on the big side. The Forerunner is a shape that works for many guys. This is the helmet shape that Bode used for many years.

See the pics for the color combination. Gray, black, red. I removed the air vent cover the day I bought it…..pretty common. The back has a strip velcro to hold a google strap. The helmet has no funky smells, etc. The liner is in great condition. Overall, it's in remarkable shape. Notice the lack of scratches, etc.

There seem to be a lot fewer helmets made these days, with full coverage. This can't be used as a race helmet in USSA events, but it would be a great "lid" for freeskiing, etc. Really comfortable, warm when it's cold, some venting for when it's hot. I went to a "softie' after experiencing some hearing loss {diving accident}, otherwise I'd still be wearing this one!

How about $45, shipped?  {I'm guessing that it's going to cost about $15 to ship}

PM me with questions, etc.

I'll measure my head tonight and get back to you. I've only got a ear-flap less lid that has seen a few spills. Probably time to upgrade.

Great. I've never been so sure of the measurements on helmets, and we have had many, many in our family of racers. I'm between a large and XL depending on the brand. XL in those that run tight, Large in others. I think that my head measures about 58-59cm, and I've got a pretty average head shape. This helmet fit me well.

This helmet's not packed out, or "loose". I've gone to a soft-eared helmet as, among other things I've had some hearing loss. Not a normal criteria for helmet selection. I normally wouldn't sell a used helmet, but this model has always been a very popular one. A great many people were upset when Briko stopped making it. It is in very, very good shape, so I figured that somebody here on Epic could use it!

BUMP, PRICE DROP & UPDATE….. Pretty sure this is a 58-60cm size. Not that it's a huge difference. Just want to clarify that. My head measures 58-59cm,and it fits me very well.

$40, shipped

Hope that helps, and that somebody can use it!

PM me with any questions.
