In les 3 vallées, all the pistes are "dammées" (flatten) in the night, except most of black tracks.
I was on these 2 black pistes some hours after snow falls.
Exemples of raw pistes : le grand couloir (Courchevel), roches grises (Courchevel), pylones (Menuires, near David Douillet), la masse (Menuires), combe de rosael (Val Thorens).
And i should add Leo lacroix (Menuires), Lac Noir (Menuires) and Combe de caron (Val Thorens, the vid show the beginning).
For people who are loving powder, you must ski in off-pistes. On the map, not a lot off-pistes, I thing I should put a red banana on this tracks (Vallon du Lou in les Menuires, Jean Pachod in Courchevel) and I will try to go in off-pistes next time, but it will be difficult for me : I ski alone and I am not a extrem rider
I don't try all the French ski resorts, but I think all the pistes are flatten in the night, except some black tracks.
This year, I was tried a "raw" red piste in Meribel : a shame !! Ice and powder, more dangerous than a black piste. Then I saw blood It was a mistake I hope, they forgot to pass !?
In the other hand, as I am a tourist, it's difficult for me to ski in powder
