Sounds catchy but it is much better to let your speed, turn size, degree of turn and rhythm dictate the length of transition. On the other hand, who's going to remember all that.
Sometimes you've got to watch out for the occasional catch phrase trigger happy ski instructor: "if there were only one thing you were to take away from this lesson, it would be to get the jiggly wiggley thing centered over the centripital spin something or other and then flush it through the cosmic force vector right before you take your ski pole an stick it up your butt"
Edit: that sounds more like making fun of the tech heads but not referring to anyone I've read here. You know the guy. There's always one or two we may have worked with over the years. Too many catchy yet somewhat glitchy sounding phrases that just keeps rolling off the tongue.
