This news article out of Jackson Hole  - Calder is Assistant Director of Patrol at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

I'm not in the "know" about a lot of things Ski Patrol related but this article leaves me feeling like Calder is something special.

Snip from article:

Quote:
Driggs, Idaho, resident Jen Calder, an 18-year veteran of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Patrol, is now assistant director of the organization. That’s the highest position a woman has held in the history of the resort’s ski patrol.

Good for Jen.  I have always liked her.  We first met years ago on a Gates of Lodore river trip.  I heard that my friend Adrienne finally got on the JH patrol after years of trying.  Adrienne put her time, over 10 years, in at Snow King as a OEC instructor and Patrol Director.  Great for both of them!

Are there any other women on JH patrol besides Jen and Adrienne?

Congrats to Jen.

Known her (and her family) for quite a while. Always willing to go above & beyond, both on and off, the hill.
