The next size for a junior skier? Stay with junior model or go to adult boots?

Hi all!!

My son is 15 years old and skied in the Killington U-12 and U14 alpine program. This year he plans to do Ski Patrol at Killington .

The last 2 years he has been in Lange RS 70 S.C. boots Two  seasons ago, he wore the 24.5 shell and last year the 25.5 shell.

Mother nature has worked its magic and he no longer fits into the 25.5 boot. He is now 5.5ft and 170 lb . What boot should he go into?

Rs 90 S.C. ? RS 110 S.C.? or an adult boot like the Lange RS 110. ? Whats the cross over from youth to adult boots?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi Cjinc.

His weight, at 170lbs he should be in an adult flex shell easily.  Do the shell check thing and make sure he isn't sold too large a boot.

What about the cuff length?

e.g. Lange makes thr 110 RS S.C. and the Lange 110 . Which  cuff height is better?
