Masters racer Charlie Hauser prepares for his first season in the 80-84 age class

I love to see skiers stick with it and stay on the top of their  game.

Fun article!  Can only hope that I'll still be making runs and turns at his age.

I can imagine @ScotsSkier  killing it long into his Masters Career.   Its funny @MastersRacer  has the name and I'm pretty sure he's still racing but we only see him when its time to play ski.....but then Masters Racing is play skiing, when you love doing it, eh?

Great to see Charlie getting some recognition. He is a great skier and a very nice guy. I remember once seeing him lay down some gorgeous railroad tracks down a steep pitch and thinking I hoped I would still be able to ski that well when I got to be that age. Then I caught myself: dang, I can't even ski that well now!

Great thread Trekchick.  I race with Charlie and sometimes he beats meThumbs Up.  He is a kind gentleman racer and true inspiration.  I shot this shaky vid a few years ago at the Cooper DH.

We could probably get him to visit at a basin on Mother's Day.
