Anyone think it would be worthwhile for me to write an Article on skiing deals for military?

We get quite a few users that are either retired or active duty military and could benefit from a compiled article on things like passes offered to military and similar things. If people are interested I would be happy to compile an article.

Sounds good. 50% off at Whitefish for active duty, etc.

Solitude was free for 70+ but recently changed their seniors policy as have others so it might be interesting to keep track of these sort of things.

I found the least expensive way to buy the new MAXX Pass if you are a senior and don't already buy a pass for one of their member resorts. Last April I bought a Cypress Mountain (West Vancouver) Senior Pass for $279CDN plus a MAXX Pass add-on for $250US. I probably won't even ski Cypress.

Sure! It could definitely come in handy although I have found that some areas you have to actually call to get the right information on their military discounts, especially for spouses and dependents.

Yes, please do!  Even an article that only covers a few ski areas in a few regions would help folks realize it's worth asking no matter where they go.  I know a lot of smaller places offer military discounts.

Yes, and I might be able to help get it published through several outlets where there is a heavy military presence. As you may know, there is a lot of info via google, but the hard part is verifying what is still applicable/correct.

Yes and I didn't mean to imply that it wouldn't be.  It's just that it's a topic of wide interest and if the goal is to spread the info as a service to military members then the story could be republished. The more that hear about it, the better.
