Line Mordecai, Atomic Bentchetler, and Candide 4.0

My current main ski is the candide 3.0. I will taking a trip out to Japan this winter and was wondering what everyone thought of the these three skis. I skied the bacon last year and did not love it. I'm hoping that the new Mordecai will be a little lighter and not so floppy. I've always been intrigued by the Bentchetler and while I realize it's similar to the bacon in some ways, I can imagine it to be very fun in Japan. I really do enjoy the 3.0 and unless I can see a clear reason not to, I will likely be shelling out the extra cash for a 4.0. Just thought I'd throw this out here and see what people think.

Of the skis you list I have only skied the Bent Chetler. I liked it and was considering getting it as my deep snow ski. Until I demoed the ON3P Billy Goats last season. I did not like the Bent Chetler's on hard snow(often necessary to get back to a lift) but the Billy Goats handled the hard snow with ease and were very stable. They're a few mm narrower but the extra stability on hard snow is a big plus. I know a pro patroller here who won't ski anything else, no matter what the conditions. You might want to see if you can demo some.

I have the Faction Royale, which has same dimensions/shape as Candide 4.0 but in a stouter layup. I like it a lot in variable snow and it floated well for me (at 175#). More predictable than some 5-point designs I've ridden. Better getting back to lift than the Bentchetlers.

hearing some great things about the Mordecai. supposed to be a bit stiffer than the Bacons - Line skis are usually super light and the Mordecais are billed as even lighter than previous models of the Bacons / Pollard Opus. Haven't tried them on the white stuff yet. My buddy is riding them this season, he was on Bacons last year .   Im a big fan of line skis , have older bacons and last years Opus. u can really shred the deep on those. swing weight is incredibly low.

ill also am a fan of Faction Royales - i got a pair of 183's that float like crazy and im pushin 190lbs. much beefier ski than the lines i mentioned above. Bust crud like no others too .  Faction makes some high quality skis . these have held up really well after years of abuse .
