Just tuned my quiver. Now, just waiting for snow

It was a three day process, but now I am ready for the snow to fly. Thursday, I took the summer wax off my 5 pair of skis (rock, touring, everyday carver, variable snow and powder). Friday, I re-waxed, de-tuned shovels and sharpened edges. Yesterday, and this morning, I scraped, brushed (nylon hand, nylon rotor, horse hair rotor) and buffed (cork). ....ready to roll! Now, I need to do the same for the family's quiver)

Me too. But, this year, I'm confident. I have a new and refreshed attitude. Here, in the wasatch, we are on a two year (or three) drought. Two years ago, I skied about 70 days, maybe 8 of which were pow days. Last year, I skied only 50 days, and got face shots, maybe 4 or 5 days. This year, I will ski 100 days. I will embrace them all. Pow days, groomer days, crud days. Spring skiing in Jan. I will ski two or three hours 6 days/week. I am totally stoked to ski from the Can. to PCMR, and thoroughly explore Scotts and Pine Cone. My goal is 75+ days at Park City, 10 at DV, 10 at Snowbird and 5+  touring. ...my lips to GOD's ears.

Maybe, I'll hit Bird'S of Prey weekend at Vail.

....slider, are we twins?

When it comes to skiing we are. After many years of grief about my Goodwill ski poles I'm considering an investment in new poles. Mind you nothing fancy that would tarnish my image.

Nice!

I'll look for you on the hill. Maybe, if I see you, I will even point you in the direction to the local ski fence, so you can improve your options.

Would like to ski the new Canyon/PCMR area. It's an easy drive from Or.

PM, if you ever get close. I'll do the same if I'm near Hood or Bachelor.

Slider may have taken the term "one ski quiver" a little too literally.
