All storms are good storms
. But what are these carvers you speak of? 500 people on one run on a warm day...slush bumps...
I think it is going to stay warm into Nov like last year. But I also think we will see early season storms, unlike last year. A-Basin and Loveland will win from a web bulb snowmaking temps perspective and both will benefit from southern track storms that pound the Front Range.
This year, I figure the earlier Wolf opens the earlier A-Basin / Loveland open, unless these SW storms bust as they come out of the mountains. All good who gets it first.
Last year the WROD really was fun in the silly warm temps - like the last gasps of lift served Spring skiing. Lots of worse ways to spend 3 hours or so including some BML beach time. Last run of the season down High Noon in 55 degrees....first run of the season down High Noon in 55 degrees. Like it never ended
