So, I've come up with an idea of a 4-stop gondola. I thought I should tell people the idea.
I don't know if this is already in use, but I don't think so. If it's in use ad a real ski resort, tell me.
When you come up to the lift, there'll be two lines. One is for the regular people and the other is for special card holders. The cards will be sold at the ski kiosk at the main lodge for a certain amount of money. So, the card holders scan their card in and join the line just for the card holders.
The gondola will come down to the station and glide slowly across the floor so people can set their skis on the outside of the gondola and walk in. Let's use a 30-person gondola for instance. So, 20 people from the main line would walk into the gondola and press a button until a bell sounds. Then, the next 10 people from the "express lane" would walk into the gondola. After that, the gondola would close its doors and head up the mountain.
On the gondola's second stop, the people who want to get out at that first stop would walk out, pressing a button corresponding to the line they were in and taking their stuff. Then, on a screen outside the gondola, would display how many more people from the main line and the express lane could get on. Then, the people in line for the 1st stop would walk on. The gondola's doors close and it heads farther up the mountain. This would repeat for the 3rd stop.
At the top of the mountain, everyone on the gondola gets off and the gondola heads back down the mountain.
I hope this organized system could be used in the future.
