I'd suggest getting the epicpass that way your covered and can go anywhere to chase the snow. I always try to go the week following presidents day holiday. Some might say the holidays are busy and they would be right. But,during the week following is usually not to crowded and as for snow quality and snow coverage mid Feb. on through march usually have good conditions most everywhere and you always have some variables somewhere like Tahoe last year for example. However you can get alot of late winter lodging deals, and with an epic pass you can ski anywhere the white stuff is falling. From the front range in colorado i.e. Breckenridge, Vail,Keystone, through utah with Park City/Canyons all the way through to Lake Tahoe Nevada/California.
I've got news DD, your not chasing snow at Christmas with a bunch of kids, unless you have a really fat wallet.
Plus, Maryann took a three hour cruise thru Epic and now she's gone.
