Steamboat places to stay

Thread Starter

Looking for mid to upper price for two ski buddies. Need two separate beds, heated pool, hot tub and sauna. We like to rent lockers at the base for the week, take a shuttle to the base and put on equipment there. Is this available at the boat?

Going in February. Any suggestions?

Thanks

No pool but I've stayed at Steamboat Mountain Lodge last couple of years.  http://steamboatmountainlodge.com/home

Lockers at base, Yes.  For the week, unknown.  Overnight ski storage available.

First visit?  Check out their free mountain tours starting at the Gondola base at 9:00AM.  It's a big place, the local knowledge you can get doing a tour will save time getting to the good stuff.

We stayed at Dulany at the Gondola last year. It was pretty nice and had all the requirements you mention. They have ski lockers downstairs and the slope is only 150 yards away.

There are many such options at the Boat. The best way to learn about them is to call their reservation line. They can tell you about all the options and they in the past have been very knowledgeable about all the properties. Also if you book thru them they have discounted lift tickets to add to the package. Most of the condos have shuttles to the base so you can put your gear on at the condo and have a short walk to the lifts from the transportation center. Good luck and have a great time!

please check out my Unofficial page (link in signature)  there are a lot of great lodging options.  Renting a locker for a week isn't a viable option but I have some suggestions for you.  Please PM me for some turns!
