Headphones/speakers for my ski helmet

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to find some headphones that are popular for the skiing crowd - ideally they should have no problem fitting in my helmet (currently am using my Osbe Majic). It seems to have a fair amount of room, but not enough for some bulky headphones. I need something that is compact and water resistant. Anyone have any suggestions to help a girl out?  :)

Osbe says they have a music kit for that helmet but I don't see it anywhere on the site. I would shoot them an e-mail.

I couldn't find it on their site either but after browsing I was able to find some information on their music kit. Apparently it should actually fit perfect for my helmet.. but it is a little bit pricy compared to others I found. Have you heard of the Outdoor Tech headphone chips? Would I be better off going for something like that? Or should I go with the custom fit music kit from Osbe? Either way ill be spending a nice chunk of cash so I'd like to get the best I can for the money.

Search on this subject, and somewhere a fellow had made a great set-up using Sennheiser drivers for helmet speakers

The wired chips are only $40, and sound at least as good as the skullcandy's. Smith replaced my defective skullcandy's for the umpteenth time with the chips, but seriously considering ponying up for the wireless, just because the wired controller has always been the root of my troubles, plus, the wire isn't really long enough for certain pocket options (cargo or bib pocket on pants)

+1 on CHIPS.

snofun3 I found what you were talking about, but taking apart some expensive headphones seems a little bit too complicated for me, unfortunately :)

Looks like I'm going to have to probably go with the chips then?

a buddy has the Outdoor Tech wireless and says they're the bees knees

So the wired chips wire failed in short order (even shorter than the skullcandys). Ordered a set of the Bluetooth chips and can confirm, they are in fact the bee's knees.

2 years w/ wireless Chips (130+ days) and simply won't ski w/o them now. The magnet is large for their size so the sound is unreal. Flawless controls w/ mittens on. If you want to save money go w/ Skullcandy but not even in the same audio quality category as the Chips. SERIOUS Bass & Treble w/ the Chips...........
