I know the Steadfasts with the marker demo's 75 bucks, fischers 46 bucks they have being killer deals in common like most of the others.  My kid can grab a couple  pairs, forBohemia where they don't groom. There is one usually bumped out blue run, prospector, rest black ya gotta have 100 mil skis or so to smooth out the irregular  terrain.   Enforcers are sweet soft bump spring snow skis, E 98s my groomer skiis when I get out west or Indianhead where everything is groomed. Skied the 187 Bones but prolly too long for me they go to my 6'4 inch tall brother next winter. The Mantras are 170 cm where near brand new for 170 bucks and try em in the woods with monolith bumps in the tight trees on bluffs of Lake Superior. 6 months to pay will be end of December.

My buddy likes the Access, my other buddy the Soul 7's so those are gone. Rtm's to my other buddy after skiing em hard all winter.  ski em all winter and sell em for break even and round of apres ski beers.  Big fat green Rossi's I picked up from Inn at Squaw Creek when I was walking up to the tram to demo fattys 4  Marches ago when they got 100 inches the 10 days of my trip and I had a pass to Squaw(cheaper to buy than rent).  The tails are kind of worthless for anything but deep deep snow. JJ's kill deep snow and pivot in trees like no tomorrow. Skied those things in 15 inches of 32 degree mank till my legs fell off. 2 pairs of 185's one pair of 175's.  The 175's where drilled but new for 120 bucks, threw on Squires which where 75.  Who knows what looks good next for 6 months to pay.

Seriously. Even with handing them out to relatives and friends. I'm tired today and don't get the "6 months to pay" referent. Is the idea some/all are bought on a balloon credit line, or some other financial instrument my Econ prof used to warn about? :D Or just that he can't stop jabbing the Pay Pal option? Either way, would be fun to see where he's at in say, ah, 6 months. After the payments all come due for now used skis that have depreciated nicely...

It's a new payment plan Paypal is doing in ebay to entice people to buy things they don't really need using Paypal credit.

Got it. That's been around for a while. Sounds as if OP just discovered something fun to press, and boy will he be in an interesting situation along about December. :eek

Enforcers 75 bucks,.  Soul 7's with axial 12 200 bucks brand new ? Practically new E 98 200 bucks new with griffons.  Alibi 125 bcuks with driver toes.  JJ 's skid once 280 bucks another pair 200 bcuks.  Watea 84 46 bucks Those Hell and Backs with Griffons 79 bucks. etc

Do you really think they will depreciate that much.  I have a pile of money this foray into skis is a drop in the bucket for the fun I get but after I ski em a season keep em sell em to my biddies e bay makes no interest off me to answer your question. No it is not a happy finger on the keyboard I check new listed twice a day and get like 6-8 skis a year.  The ones I like but don't need are gone in 190 hours or so I track em easy and quick with the Watch list

Now do you really think these will depreciate and please count in the enjoyment I get skiing em?  I have plenty of money for the 6 month pay pal bill to not bother me if I still have the skiis after skiing em for a while but my buddys ski em and buy em so it is a rotating quiver I rarely pay interest on(a good system).  Soem of these I git even before paypal and are rock skis.

King Grump and Beyond my ego not sure what the fake out stuff is?  I am a newbie here but ya ever get close to Bohemia let me know we can rip it up never groom can snow 23 days in a row lake effect....if you will be nice(not sure about that) you can use any of my skis.

Just check "newly listed" twice a day and get virgin deals.  The good ones I let go are gone in 10 hours not 190 hours typo, sorry.  I passed on 015 Squad 7's 188 for 300 bucks with griffons, passed on 015 184cm skied 5 times Mantra with new griffons for 299 including shiping both gone in 10 hours

The couple of ski you listed above cost you $1205, each ski might be a 'great deal' individually, but that is some real $$$. I'm all for folks buying lots of ski gear, seriously- All. For. It.  There is, however, a point where 'great deal, couldn't pass it up' is actually costing you more than picking a ski that suits your needs and stopping. It is your $$ and your life, if chasing deals on skis makes you happy, keep going! Be happy.

Totally  it is fun, its actually to easy as it never costs me a dime for 6 months and if I like em great keep em.  Like I said 4-5 pairs just need to be dropped off at buddies so I can see how I like the Alibi's and JJ's whiich  have skied already and Mantra for the tight trees at Bohemia. I age and easier skis that match my ski style I am always shopping for so I do not expect to stick with one ski I guess as you do.

Glad I think skiing on skis for free is a no brainer, am disciplined and even if it was $1205 would not be some real $$$ to me.  Brother died of cancer 3 years ago so nothing is about money to a certain point to me if you want to understand my perspective to yours, was pro patrol at mammoth for a while have skied for 45 years it is a passion and E Bay is like legal stealing they make no interest off me. I amke a few bucks on skis after I ski em.

You ought to try it if ya have some money.  I have no demo places where I ski, do not want to take alot of time to ferry into demo shops on my vacations and come November a bucnch will be truned back to e bay.

Bro I am not even sure why this is such a big deal for you to comment on but there is my explanation. I have had 5 people skiing on my skis at one time they all loved em and bought em.

Check out Bohemia

This is warm milk and cookies compared to places like TGR, where you'd be flamed to ash for the attitude.

One reason for the, ah, lack of embrace may be the way you keep emphasizing how 12 benjamins is chump change. Happy you, but for many here, it is real money. So this comes across as chest beating. And finally it's odd that you just seem to have discovered fleabay and need to turn all of us on to it. Many of us have been buying or selling there for years, yep, you can score some nice used rigs, or you can score some thoroughly beat rigs. IME, hard to tell from the descriptions or pictures, more probability statement. Anyway, take a deep breath, and we'd enjoy reviews when you're had a chance to ski some of that clump.

A bunch of us are from the Midwest originally. I doubt most of us are going to travel there to ski unless it involves Christmas, a wedding, or a funeral. No offense. Loved growing up in the MI.
