I posted this in the Extremes and 50 Degree Couloir Thread but many on this international forum-zone maybe more familiar with parts of what this young looney-tunes (jest, guy is balls to the wall cool mountain Luke) climbed and then skied , and actually it was great, hard, technical skiing, all skill, all balls: Watch his climb, his calm ridge-line stroll, and then watch how he clicks into his bindings, holy guacamole, and of course, the skiing, kid skis the ice-snow-ice face of the Matterhorn, basically from just below the summit. Never thought it could be skied, was there, and know folks have skied down sides but this was from the top:
and for locals - I just see these kind of folks as just all natural mountain goats, a gift you are born with like someone I know well, and this kid is a trip - this is pretty scary stuff, very scary, permanent and lkely terminal consequences would be the reward for an error! Think he makes most of the Red Bull and GoPro gigs look pretty tame..!-) No fluff stuff here with pillows, this is skiing terrain, and skiing it well, calm and controlled
This is just too good to miss.
