Intuition Liner Size Question

Did a quick search and did not find an answer to my question.  I apologize if there is a answer out there that I did not find...

Anyhow, I have a pair of intuition liners that I plan on removing from my old boots (shell sz 25.5) and using in my new boots (shell sz 26.5).  I don't know why the boot fitter put me in a larger size, but he did and they ski great.  I'm concerned because the Intuition liner is a size 8 and I'm wanting to put them in a size 9 boot.  As a trial and in my home, I placed the liners in my new boots and they seemed to fit really well, but thought there may be some slippage on the mountain.  Thoughts??

If your old boots were 25.0s and fit ok, going to a 26.5 and skiing for several hours will pack the liner so much that your feet will definitely slide all over the place inside the shell----NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!

What do your feet measure in Centimeters? (called "Mondo" by boot manufacturers)

If indeed, you fit into a 25.0 in the past---take the 26.5s back get your money and ---- run as fast as you can.:cool

read through the above article to see how to determine which boot should work for you, regardless of the size marked on the boot by the manufacturer.  Do the "shell check" thing as described in the article.

Thanks Mike!  That's what I was afraid of.

I agree with Mike.  Most boots run fairly true to size.  Those that don't run large.  I can't think of any that run small.  If you've comfortable worn a smaller size these are almost certainly too large.  They may ski great now, but it probably won't last.  If you like the boot find it in a smaller size.
