Returning to Europe this Summer to visit the in-laws and more. Not a skiing trip, but planning to bring some gear and get a few ski days are planned to keep the ski streak alive.

On our last trip back in 2011, I stretch my stay solo in order to make it to September. This time, my oldest daughter will be with me. At the end of August/early September 2011 I managed to make some turns at 6 out of 7 open summer areas.

- Tignes, France

- Les Deux Alpes, France

- Zermatt, Switzerland

- Saas Fee, Switzerland

- Passeo del Stelvio, Italy

- Hintertux, Austria

I didn't head to Mölltaler Gletscher as my trip was coming to an end and I was having a difficult time getting info plus I wanted to stay near Hintertux for my Sept 1 turns. Below is a recap post from my blog.

Late Summer 2011 : Skiing 85.7% of lift running Europe

For this Summer, I looking to make it to Mölltaler, however I trying to figure out if they normally run until the Fall? It would seem so.

Dachstein is also currently open, however I believe they generally close prior to August, but I'm not able to confirm this.

Any info on these places operations in late August would be greatly appreciated. Other than that, the only European lift served skiing in late Summer is in Norway or indoors.
