Chinese Ladies??????? Really EpicSki, I expect better from you.
Guess you haven't been around much. It's been an ongoing battle since the North American ski season started winding down. Required changes to software, but still not foolproof.

It looks like we have worked the kinks out of a workaround that has begun to at least frustrate the spammers and prevents the community at large from ever having to see the bulk of the spam. The downside is that new users won't see their posts immediately appear. Some spammers will undoubtedly slip by us sooner or later with this approach, but it will be good enough for our summer off season. Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding.
And spammers, if you're reading this, Namaste and Annyeong Hashimnikka. We have presents for you. Our representatives will be knocking down your doors soon to deliver them. We hope that you will enjoy our "love problem solution".
Aah, that's completely different. Were you logged in or not? Depending on security settings, an individual may see advertisements based on cookies. For instance, when I logged out just now, the box above the right hand column and next to the carousel pictures was showing an ad for a fitness gizmo that I have searched on in the past.

We have policies on what we allow and don't allow to be displayed as advertising, unfortunately sometimes a bad ad slips through. Usually we get reports about these and they get taken out pretty quick as it seems like happened here. I didn't get a specific report of this one, but if you see it again please let me know.
We do have advertisers who pay but we also have Google AdSense which is based on your personal web browsing. If you're getting Chinese ladies in those ads then its based on something from your own searches.
Sidenote and a funny piece of information. I've received a few emails from Google Adsense based on things that pop up in Google searches and have been asked to delete a few threads with titles about Ski P-*-r-n. Their system only recognizes the P word as a naughty thing and they will put our site in some sort of naughty google classification if we don't comply. Most often I will just move the thread to the Passholder area where it is out of Google Search sight because we all know that Ski P is just awesome ski movies.
Google and adsense is a funny thing.
I blame TGR!
