Mod note: would be great to have an ongoing regional thread for Europe for the upcoming season.  I suggest including "2015-2016" in the thread title.  Might be better in International Zone but General Skiing or Gatherings is okay too.  Be happy to add it to the list on the homepage of Resorts, Conditions & Travel together with the other regional threads.

Already put up a thread here: http://www.epicski.com/t/142716/europe-who-skis-where-and-when#post_1914937

Maybe one of you guys can add "2015-2016" to the title?

Done!  Also added a link in a sticky at the top of International Zone.

Looking forward to some trip reports from Europe. :)

Hmmm.  March in Europe could be tempting to bring Field Marshal Von Wife and my two tax deductions).  Are conditions and crowds too bad to consider Easter week (late March)?

This is from a discussion on another thread . . . actually quite off-topic for that thread . . . wondering if there is anything equivalent for Italy?

There's even a "Fly Baggage" option to forward your bags directly from Geneva, Zurich or Bern airports, so you basically check your bag in the States and it arrives at the train station of your destination, no trip to the airport carousel or lugging involved.

Looks like Austria (that's the Oe Bay Bay) has something similar but not as robust:

Getting to Europe for a ski trip is not going to work for me for a few years.  But definitely on the bucket list after the kid is in college and doesn't need a chauffeur during school vacations.
