I hear you, but that's not NY style, that's just bad pizza. Kinda like how PF Chang's is bad Chinese food, no matter where it's made.

Hey OP, what about a MJ edible Chinese pizza? It might taste horrible, but after a few bites the custy would be too stoned to care!

From a 42 year old guy that was literally born in the industry and is still a chef pick something easier and less demanding if you want time for yourself. I just worked 150 hours in the past 12 days.

Yes. I have worked in ski town restaurants on and off for 20 years. One thing I have learned is don't work management or own one unless you want it to be your life. It will own you and that's not my idea of a good life in the mountains.

Hey now, Vendetta's is only $3 or $4 a slice, isn't it? It's one of the last bastions of normalcy there, all things being relative :D

The best skier food in Vail will always be whatever you grill yourself on the mountain.  Best vibe too given that you're surrounded by people who, by and large, have their shit together.

MT nailed it... Pizza in CO sucks!!! Already put a business plan together for a Denver pizzaria, but need my brother to move out here and run it. We'll see if it goes anywhere.

When I mention I live around Idaho Springs I'll sometimes get a "I love Beau Jo's" (Or something to that effect.) I personally think Beau Jo's is overrated. Good, yes, but not the most amazing pizza I've ever had like a lot of people make it out to be. Not to mention it's extremely overpriced.

No offense, but Beau Jos=doughy hot-mess, but I'll eat it if someone else is buying...

Kind of feel the same way about Tommyknockers beer, except it's cold.

Whoever starts a Hooters in Durango would probably make enough money to affort to live here...

I like Beau JO's... especially 'cause the kids like the cool building, but the pizza is decent and that seems to be par for the course from Black Jack to Old Chicago ... even lucky pie in louisville is pretty good, but not amazing...

Here's the prototype!
