Park Skis vs All Mountain Skis

Hello,

so my park skis are knackered basically and I have my all mountain Salomon 8.0s still. Now iv moved my foot position as close to the center as possible but its about 4inch rear. I cannot get them any closer to that, what I was wondering as iv not tried much park using these. Am I going to struggle due to the position of my foot and would I be best just investing in some more Park skis when I get chance?

Thanks

Dob

If you really want to ski park, you do need some park skis. Will any ski 'work'? Sure, for a little while for basic jumps but if you want to ski and land switch and slide rails and boxes a dedicated park ski is needed... and if you ski park hard you will need a new pair every season, sometimes two pairs. Park skiing destroys skis.

Also, if you are going to be frequently skiing switch and doing spins more than 180 degrees center mounting the bindings is recommended.

Yea thought as much to be honest, I can get some in September anyway but I was gonna use this at my local indoor slope until then.
