What are your goals for the last day of skiing?

For me, it's to enjoy and have fun!

1) Enjoy the sensation of skiing, power and control, by making some lazy GS turns.

2) Not fall on my recently separated (grade 3) shoulder.

3) Avoid pain (no jumps - no SL turns).

The idea was to survive  7 days of skiing and not do anything I would regret after the news that I will be looking for a new knee in a few years.                                                                                                                                                                               https://vimeo.com/130238242

I was to be flying on April 17th back to Palm Beach Gardens but Old Man Winter stepped-up and had this in mind for me.

I think my knee has many years left in it.

I never want my last day to be my last day. If you know what I mean. ;)

To follow @Philpug 's thought, I already know the next day I'll be skiing. And it is in July!

I've had four "last days" this season. My goals are to just feel good, give thanks for all the friends and fun, celebrate a bit..........................

Last day in West Virginia, last lesson of the season................

Picture I took of @JohnL from LAST Chair :cool

Last day at Seven Springs PA

Last day at Killington with @JaneB

and Adam and JohnG

and finally,

Last day for 2014-15 season at A Basin.

Thanks for watching, see ya soon.

1)To finish out under my own terms and not have the body fail first.

2)To be on snow and a mountain that still should be ski under the present conditions.  The hike sideways across a full run to get to the other side of the mountain from 2014 still burns in the memory.

Ahhh, don't get lazy and cut corners at the end of the season! ....... you skipped past the step about not tucking in ski pants.

I have a Level 3 AC separation too. That's not a fun injury. It gets better tho.

I usually get real drunk on closing day.
